Nothing keeps TenniShorts’ own Sandra Harwitt from being on the job.
A full-blown sandstorm hit Dubai the past two days which makes adjustments necessary. Harwitt did like the locals – donned a surgical mask — to get around the grounds of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships and took the time to take a selfie.

What is going on with this site? First it was the “table lady,” & now a surgical mask selfie? Is this a tennis site, or a Facebook page? The sandstorm could have been interesting if it had focused on the players, the spectators, &/or the venue, but not on one writer who was probably in the media center the whole time anyway. And where is Alix, as I miss her unique insights into pro tennis? Please return the focus of the site to tennis, which is why most of us signed up anyway. Otherwise, I, for one, am going to unsubscribe!
