You have got to love Ernie: no fuss, no side; just plain, honest, Ernie every time. So, after he had just splattered Tomas Berdych all over Court Suzanne Lenglen to reach his first grand slam semifinal, he was not fazed. He doesn’t do fazed. He was happy – natch – but he was just the same old Ernie. And just because he was a newbie in the last four of a major, he did not need to change his opinion of his own talents or become cringingly deferential to his rivals. See what he thought of his 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 win over Berdych…
